If selected, the trainee will be paid to go through a 3-month intensiveness training program. This program will be virtual, allowing the trainee to work from home on their own computer. At the end of the training program, the trainee will be evaluated and upon successful completion may be offered a full time Media Manager position. This is a part time position, demanding the trainee devote 20 hours a week (Monday through Friday) for 3 months.Salary for the training program is 400 Ghana Cedi per month (working 20 hours a week). If hired for the full time position, after the training program, salary will be increased to reflect increased responsibility and time commitment.You will learn:

  • Digital marketing
  • Graphic design
  • Web design and management
  • Grant writing

What you will do:

  • Read and watch assigned videos and articles
  • Write reports on learned content
  • Set up and manage social media accounts
  • Research and write grants

Applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Have a strong social media presence (to demonstrate existing competency)
  • Have a strong command of the English language & superior written communication skills
  • Have strong technical and digital literacy
  • Have access to a computer with reliable internet access
  • Have an understanding of sustainability issues
