At InnovoMD we provide quality medical care to our patients. Our organization is made up of dedicated clinicians and administrators who are passionate about transforming healthcare delivery in Ghana. We are building a highly skilled, experienced and multi-disciplinary clinical team to care for patients in our community. Our team approach to health care includes doctors, nurses, therapists, case managers and other allied health professionals.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate locum family physician to provide evidence based medical care.
Location: Accra and Tema.
The family doctor will be performing the following services to patients in the community:
- Provide exceptional evidence-based care to our patients
- Establish rapport with and build relationships with patients
- Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention and early detection
- Provide referrals to specialists based on patient needs
- Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs
- Document all patient notes in our electronic medical record system (EMR)
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to Ghana Medical Association guidelines and regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
- MBChB or MD from an approved medical training institute
- Four to five years post-housemanship clinical practice desirable
- Must have be in good standing with the GMDC
- Must have excellent client/patient relations and fully respect patient rights as provided for in the InnovoMD Patient’s Charter
- Demonstrated continuous improvement and learning
