JOB FUNCTION
The successful candidate will coordinate the preparation of the Corporate and Capital Budget Financial Forecast and the 10-year investment programme. develop models for financing negotiations and perform financial analysis.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in developing and improving standardised processes surrounding budgeting, forecasting and reporting. Forecast Economic Assumptions used for the preparation of the organisation's
- Corporate Budget and Long Term Financial Forecast.
- Develop financial models to aid in financing negotiations, tariff proposals and risk analysis.
- Analyse Plant Fuel Efficiency and unit cost of the organisation's plants. Present business overview as well as models and related analysis to the World Bank and other Lending
COMPETENCIES
- Solid understanding of Finance and research skills
- Able to think critically, drive and present analysis clearly
- Excellent Excel, Power point and Financial Modeling Skills
- Must be detail-oriented, organised, self-motivated, and able to work
- independently and under time pressure.
- Comfortable and effective working directly with senior people both internally and externally.
- Demonstrates creativity in finding
- information when it may not be readily available
- Highly collaborative team player
