Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be required to perform the following duties:
• General assistance to the centre leader
• Manage postgraduate students and researchers, national and regional partners and engage with stakeholders
• Plan and coordinate activities in educational and research programmes
• Act as key contact person and support the leadership for students training and education, research, engagement with students, academics, policymakers, industry collaborators and the public
• Maintain and update database of students, centre programme participants, reseachers, research groups, parnters and publications
• Ensure regular update of centre activities and results for the centre’s website
• Maintain records and documentation for the monitoring and evaluation of the project
• Link up with the office of Grants and research (OGR) and enter relevant project information into the research management information system (ReMIS).
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of Master’s Degree in the relevant field
• A project management qualification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) will be an advantage
• Proven experience as programme manager or other managerial position
• Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods
• Excellent knowledge in performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
• Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting
• Working knowledge of MS Office and programme management software (e.g. Basecamp, MS Project etc) would be an advantage
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
