The Production Supervisor will ensure a safe, high quality and cost-effective process operation and maintenance of the unit’s production systems with minimum environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag safety, and Unit Management System.
The responsibilities of the Production Supervisor will include but are not limited to the following:
- Provides regular feedback on activities to the Satellite Superintendent Respond to all emails ASAP with the required information. Supervises Senior Production Operators and Production Operators, and any other assigned crafts / visitors. Follow and demonstrate core behaviors in all aspect of the business and supervisory role.
- Controls well production operations to produce crude oil and gas at the required levels to meet the Company's production targets Accountable for insuring that Production Operators utilizes the Daily and Weekly Operation’s checklist to identify production, processing equipment and infrastructure related deficiencies, provides feedback and drive to completion from the start.
- Monitors wellhead and process equipment coordinate the regular maintenance and repair of facilities & Wells with the maintenance, Admin & Logistic, P&S, & WI team. (7 days & 28 day plans) Prioritize the jobs based on the urgency, production & safety factors in the weekly meetings
- Co-ordinates, Supervises, the execution of a number of well completion, Workover and remedial programs developed by the Reservoir/production & WI engineering. It includes Well pre-work, well completion, rig less Work over programs.
- Perform audits in the assigned area to insure that personnel, infrastructure and processing equipment are in adherence with HSE / Engineering standards.
- Ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Company's safety policies and procedures. Ensures that all safety rules and regulations are fully explained to Company and contractor employees; Ensures tail gate and safety meetings are carried out, messages are communicated to all work force, and leave turnover notes for your reliever (b2b).
- Ensures that all activities related to well operations are carried out in accordance with the Company's safety policies and procedures. Ensures that all safety rules and regulations are fully explained to Company and contractor employees; that appropriate safety and protective equipment is ordered and stocked in the work unit; that safety notices are prominently displayed in all work areas; and that all accidents and incidents are efficiently investigated and analysed, including implementation of measures to avoid a recurrence.
- Coordinates activities related to drilling operations at producing wellheads. Includes directing the preparation of the platform for the incoming rig, coordinating the flow of the well, shutting down platform, directing testing activities and well completions. Supervises the installation of flow lines and the positioning of the Christmas tree upon completion. Take the lead in minimizing downtime during SIMOPS.
- Understand and have detailed knowledge of the company’s Emergency Response Procedures. Perform emergency response duties and tasks as defined in the company’s Incident command system.
- Assign manpower in advance to the jobs in accordance to individual competency level. Monitor, review & report performance of all direct and indirect staff as per company policy. Conduct Performance Appraisal annually & rate the direct reports.
