--> ROLE PURPOSE:
Monitor, manage and maintain all portals within Vodafone including Data, USSD, SMS and Voice. Track and ensure proper utilization of portal; oversee lifecycle management of portals and ensure proper implementation and functioning of both new and existing portals.
As the point of access for SIM registration, joining Segments, and even self-care, portals play an integral part in the both product and customer marketing. It is a necessary part of providing access to a digital world and showing internal and external stakeholders demonstrating.
Apps are the gateway to digitization for many people and this role will be critical in ensuring Vodafone remains at the forefront.

Key Accountabilities
- Manage a complete and up-to-date repository of all existing in-house portals and applications including their functionalities and related interdependencies and linkages
- Ensure active monitoring of all existing portals and mobile applications to ensure functionality
- Track portal usage to ensure viability of portals
- End-to-end lifecycle management of all portals
- Create a portal roadmap for improvement, refresh of existing portals, and launch of new portals (same for apps)
- Support the Non-Voice Head in managing the relationship with all stakeholders (internal & external) related to portal and app development and maintenance
- Develop a portfolio/roadmap of customer offerings for testing, implementation and roll-out that is within the marketing budget and aligned to the overall marketing roadmap
- Build relationships and partnerships with local and international app providers and developers.
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies.
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors/Equivalent degree in Marketing/Communications/Engineering/Computer Science
- Language Requirements:
- English – Fluent
- Local language - Conversational
Experience / Skill Requirements:
- Experience in consumer marketing, product or brand management or strategic planning
- Exposure to social media and digital platforms management especially in a commercial environment
- Strong written and presentation skills.
- Result-oriented – able to recommend and take corrective action, if appropriate
- Commercially-minded – comfortable with financial data and/or making business cases
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong execution skills with a proven track record of delivery
