Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and direction of the company to uphold long-term vision and mission to provide quality financial services to low and moderate income Ghanaians.
- Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the institution
- Develop business and operational plans, including the annual budget.
- Ensure achievement of lending and operational targets and other goals as outlined in the business plan and approved by the Board of Directors.
- Ensure portfolio quality and growth for long-term sustainability and profitability of the institution.
- Manage relationships with donors, banks, board members and government officials and sets the overall tone for the organization. Represents the institution in all official communication.
- Ensure timely submission of all required financial and operational reports to the Board of Directors, government authorities, lenders and investors.
- Develop and implement strategies for promotion and expansion of client services.
- Conduct periodic monitoring visits to the field, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining a competitive edge in the market, and ensures that all procedures are being followed.
- Ensure that MIS meets the institution’s management requirements, as well as reporting the needs of shareholders and donors.
Office and Staff Administration
- Provides leadership and direction to the department and ensures that strategic objectives are cascaded into team objectives
- Coaches and develops staff within the secretariat
- Plays key roles required as a management staff including representing the Bank and the secretariat at external and committee meetings.
- Prepares and manages corporate budget relating to Board, CSR and corporate affair
