A leading consulting company with a presence in Sub-Saharan Africa is seeking to employ an experienced Resident Engineer with Pavement & concrete experience to join their team on a contractual basis in Ghana. Suitable candidates must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) as well as have extensive experience in airfield pavement engineering supervision.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have Master’s Degree/ Honours in Civil Engineering Degree
- Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) anything less will not be considered
- Must have at least 12 - 15 years+ solid years of post-qualification experience as a Resident Engineering supervising pavement projects, coupled with African experience.
- Must have 15 years solid supervision experience within airfield pavement or multi-storey construction projects.
- Must have worked in Africa and understand the Ghana legislations and engineering requirements
- Must be affiliated with other professional bodies such as PMI
- Must have extensive site management experience
- Must be in good standing with the authorities to be eligible for Ghanaian visa without any legal impediments
