Anglogold Ashanti (Iduapriem) Limited (AAIL) is looking for a highly qualified and motivated person for role of Field Engineer - Telecommunication & System Support
Role Summary
The purpose or this role is, to support and carry out telecommunications and systems support for both legacy and IP telephony systems, witn end-user systems
support, client computers, [Iber optic table layouts including repairs and maintenance, end-user IAN connectivity, office equipment and peripherals (printers etc.) are functional to this role.
Role Accountabilities
- Work With technical management to ensure that telecom networks are effectively maintained and reflect business needs, servlce-level and availability requirement of and other technology parameters.
- Support and maintain plans to ensure telecom systems capacity meets existing and future requirements
- Assist to preparing Telecommunication device and cabinet location layouts, cable block diaqrams and MDF/IDF schematics
- Keep register Of spares rot telecommunication equipment.

- Assist to provide LANs ror buildings areas requiring the service.
- Ensure that all dienc systems are effectively connected to the Local Area Networks.
- Ensure that office equipment and peripherals — multifunction printers. etc., are well maintained.
Person Specifications
- A university degree or diploma in Telecommunications/computer engineering or related fields
- Experience in managing telecommunications systems/Call Managers
- Experience in the design of Telecommunication Systems such as:
o Structured copper arid Fiber optic cabling,
o Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks
o Cisco IP telephony systems
- Strong knowledge and understandinq Of PSTN and ISDN
- Strong knowledge and experience in client systems support
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Keen attention to detail
- Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ethical Conduct
- Past National Service Personnel with AngloGold Ashanti Iduapnem Limited may apply
- Medically fit ror the and the environment
- Possess, valid Ghanaian Driving Licence and proficiency to drive light vehicle
