Job Description
All working systems, in a broad sense, refers to being responsible for developing good system installation and maintenance culture and developing good IT practice policies to management and seeing to its implementation when approved. This includes proper acquisition, installation and implementation of Application software, pcs and accessories.
Day to day responsibilities as a systems administrator:
- Maintaining file and mail server on Linux
- Adding and managing users
- Installing and administrating MS Outlook mail clients on users pc
- Installing and enabling software on server and on staff pcs
- Internet connections and troubleshooting
- Printer connections and troubleshooting
- Maintaining system security

- Developing policies to ensure Best IT Practice
- User education on setup and usage
Day to day responsibilities as a pc and user support officer:
- Basic repair of faulty pcs and accessories
- Offer support to users
- Application support and troubleshooting
- User education and assistance
- First point of call on network troubleshooting
- Implementation of policies and securities
Required Skills or Experience
- 1st degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
- Minimum of 3 years in a busy environment
