Marie Stopes International Ghana (MSIG) has vacancy for a passion-driven, well-organised, client-oriented and energetic individual with the relevant qualifications and experience to occupy the vacancy below. MSIG's goal is to meet the needs of the underserved and improve access to
the use of Family Planning (FP) and other Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) services. MSIG is part of Marie Stopes International's global partnership, which operates in over 37 countries worldwide.

Length of contract: One (1) year contract.

MS Ladies Project Assistant Greater Accra Region-Accra and Western Region- Takoradi

The MS Ladies Project Assistant will assist in the and management of MS supervision Ladies/Gentlemen within the sector. He/she will work closely with the client activation officer and the marketing department to develop a plan and to support MS Ladies demand and client activation exercises to increase project impact.

The MS Ladies Project Assistant will report to the relevant Regional Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Regional Manager and Channel Leads in the management and supervision of MS Ladies
• Identify and recruit new MS Ladies service providers by mapping and assessing the eligibility for the clinics against defined criteria
• Monitor MS Ladies performance and ensure high quality and high volume in each outlet.
  
• Develop and implement strategies to improve overall accessibility of MSIG core services that improve accessibility by young people.
  
• Identify gaps in MS Ladies performance, suggest and implement interventional strategies to address training needs.
  
• Build and maintain a positive relationship with each MS Lady
  
• Develop strong relationships with key project partners including Ghana Health Service (GHS) at the regional and district level as well as local community leaders and other partners.
  
• Monitor and support in organising Quality Assurance (QA) visit and training in the sector.
  
• Any other duties that may come up.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Science or Diploma in Marketing etc or Other professional qualifications i.e. Project Management will be advantage
  

Skill and Experience:

• At least two (2) years' experience in project management and NGO field coordination 
• Customer focused with good interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels
• Sympathetic to women and men seeking Family Planning and Reproductive Health Services. 
• Good report writing, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with little no supervision.
• Analytical with attention to detail and be results oriented.
• Passionate about field work.
• Honest, mature, assertive and reliable
• Pro-Choice

This is a local position. Interested Non - Ghanaians must therefore have the necessary legal permits required to work in Ghana.
