Job Description
- Department: Banking Operations
- Location: Head Office
Job Purpose:
The job holder will be responsible for the efficient daily operations at the various branches; including operations, product sales, customer service and security and safety in accordance with our corporate objectives.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Banking rules, regulations & procedures. .
- Ensure that branches operate in accordance with the Company’s Operations Manual
- Monitor progress and performance in all areas of branch operations at all levels
- Provide direction to branch operations issues
- Promote activities, processes and products which enhance the Company’s image with its clients
- Ensure high quality customer service & customer relationship management
- Ensure that errors are minimized with respect to branch operations.
- Ensure that internal control measures are properly followed.

- Ensure that security systems function effectively
- Ensure performance evaluation of objectives and targets set for the branches & staff members, explain variance and find corrective measures for implementation.
- Periodic review of progress against objectives
- Ensure clarity of business objectives among Branch Operations staff.
- Manage the movement of bullion van for cash picks
- Reconciliation of Inter Branch
- Leave management and Relieve team
Required Skills or Experience
- A relevant first degree in Business administration, Banking and Finance, Accounting or Social Sciences and a member of CIB
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in banking operations.
- Working knowledge of T24
- Sound knowledge of the regulatory framework of the Savings and Loans industry
- Sound written & verbal communication skills
- Must be computer literate
- Must possess strong analytical and disciplined approach to documenting processes
- Ability to plan, organize, direct and coordinate events from conception to delivery
- Must be smart and able to work under intense pressure
