- Department : Business Banking
- Location : Head Office
Job Purpose
Responsible for business development, relationship management and client experience of companies. Proactively consult the business owner in achieving their financial goals by providing smart financial solutions for personal and business needs. Serve as a trusted advisor for these businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Business Banking in relation to customer onboarding/account opening and maintenance functions and initiatives driven by business from time to time.
- Lead a team of staff and take charge of company account opening and maintenance activities and ensuring efficient and effective scope of operations and service standards are maintained.
- Monitor the hub(s) performance and ensure adequate capacity is put in place to cater for peaks and troughs in the business volume coming through.
- Streamline workflow and procedures and introduce automation process where applicable in order to cope with the ever changing needs of the market and ongoing expansion of businesses.
- Cultivate a strong risk awareness culture in the team and collaborate with the unit's Business Operational Risk Team in identifying operational risks in the team's processes, if any, and develop corresponding controls.
- Develop good conduct behaviors in the team and ensure Company Code of Conduct is adhered to.
- To the extent possible ensure that know/relevant regulatory and bank policies/procedures are adhered to

Required Skills or Experience
Technical Competencies
- Minimum of 1st Degree in relevant area/Professional Qualification in ACIB
- A 2nd degree qualification is an added advantage
- Must have 8 – 10 years work experience and 5 years being managerial
