A performance driven Non-Bank Financial Institution seek to recruit an experienced, knowledgeable and passion driven young individual for the role of Information Technology Manager.
REPORTS TO: CEO
JOB PUROSE
- To ensure the effective operation of all IT systems and related applications and software of the institution.
- To drive and implement FINTECH innovation strategies and solutions for improved services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the development and maintenance of an IT strategic plan for the company
- Develop and implement policies in line with industry best practices and standards
- Develop and implement appropriate metrics to measure and report IT service level performance, trends and problem resolution
- Analyze the organization’s IT requirements and recommend acquisitions and / upgrades to? Executive Management.
- Perform cost/benefit analyses of IT projects, prepare and present analyses to Executive Management.
- Plan, direct and implement the installation of hardware and software tools and technologies.
- Responsible for Database Management and Integrity.
- Responsible for IT security.
- Responsible for vendor management.
- Responsible for Recovery Disaster Implementation & Management.
- Responsible for departmental staff development.

Required Skills or Experience
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- First degree in Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university.
- An MBA and Professional qualification is desirable.
EXPEREINCE
- Minimum of 4-6 years practical work experience in Information Technology.
- Experience in a Non-Bank Financial Institution is preferred
- Knowledge in Database Administration, Programing, Networking and FINTECH is required.
- Familiar with banking software

- Ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and creative problem-solving techniques in a fast paced environment.
- High level of integrity and results-oriented
