Job Vacancy For Accounts Officer

A leading financial services group operating from Accra with operations in investment banking, securities trading and investment management, seeks to employ highly qualified professionals to fill the following position as Accounts Officer

Duties

• Assist the Accountant to ensure that the firm runs efficiently by keeping accurate records and providing valuable financial information
• Process payment vouchers and cash requisitions for payments etc
• Assist in keeping and maintaining proper books of accounts
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements monthly for review
• Assist in the preparation of periodic reports for the regulators and periodic financial statements of the various companies
• Assist, in providing external auditors with all required accounting information process all invoice requests through appropriate systems

• Assist in the management of petty cash for internal office
• Prepare and post relevant journals into the financial accounting system
• Other duties that may be assigned

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a first degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics from a reputable university
• Should have successfully completed the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) Securities Courses and passed the examinations at all levels
