The Data Analyst provides support to better understand the overall business impact of complex issues related to KNK and JEAM, enabling improved prioritization and contextualization of issues. Person will be supporting both KNK and JAM for audit report using the Assurance process. Data Analyst will be liaising with Ops Managers, Engineers and HSEQ as follow up from the audit report.
Responsibility
- Ability to understand, simplify, statistically analyze, and effectively interpret data and report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
- Generates reports ranging from ad hoc reports to managers, using available data from multiple sources and system tools.
- Works with multiple types of business units and directly produce reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
- Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets
- Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
- Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics
- 3+ years experience mining data as a data analyst
- Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools
