We require a French Speaking Drill Expert to work on our client site in West Africa. This person must pay technical attention to the various aspects on the in-depth knowledge of mechanisms and systems on the Atlas Copco, and Sandvik fleet.
Essential Functions
Reporting to the General manager of the Mobile Maintenance Department duties will include:-
The analysis and resolution of the origin of a malfunction, incident or accident:
· Accompany mechanics in any advanced diagnosis or technical challenge on the Atlas Copco and Sandvik fleet of equipment
· Make inspections on equipment regularly
· Continually seek ways to work safer and more efficiently
· Provide feedback and guide the supervision team on the technical aspect of equipment
· Accompany the team of reliability and engineering for all aspects relating to the technique
Field coaching the mechanics of the garage
· Provide technical support to mechanics during difficult repairs
· advise the mechanics on good practices and safe work practices
· Correct if necessary, any problems
· Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of work performed is in line with the quality required, and give constructive feedback to the supervision of the equipment
Essential Experience
· Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a specialist on drilling equipment
· Extensive experience on Atlas Copco and Sandvik fleets
· Have excellent communication and technical skills
· Affirm a strong culture of health and safety
This position is offering an excellent $USD package and will be on a 36 day on 26 day off FIFO rota
