Join us as a Senior Education Teacher Engagement Manager and be one who empowers billions and helps to enable digital transformation with all education customers worldwide. This is a Microsoft MEA HQ role that covers all of Africa with specific role landing in Africa.

Responsibilities

• Understand education system leader, school/institution leader, researcher and educator priorities and strategies, and plan programs of services that drive value and contribute to Microsoft growth through attainment of your revenue based, share based and/or consumption-based quota
• Cultivate and build education system leader, school/institution leader, researcher and educator affinity with Microsoft connected campus & modern classroom experiences to drive larger impact for the customer focused on Education services and solutions that grow consumption of Office 365, Windows 10 devices (including Microsoft Surface), Azure, Intune for Education, Dynamics 365 and Minecraft : Education Edition.
• Establish Microsoft as a future ready skills leader with STEM offerings, Microsoft Imagine Academy, Azure for Students, & Linkedln Learning
• Plan and oversee the delivery and impact of services that drive customer objectives, outcomes and success and deepen digital transformation engagements with active use of the Microsoft Education Transformation Framework creating lighthouse examples of digital transformation.
• Grow the number of Microsoft Innovative Expert Educators, Microsoft Showcase & Flagship Schools and Innovative Institutions leveraging voice of customer feedback through surveys, listening systems and social mechanisms to identify and alleviate key customer success blockers
• Partner with other roles to ensure education leader and educator success in the acquisition, implementation, and consumption of Microsoft’s services and solutions
• Providing insight and feedback from customers and partners to the Microsoft Worldwide Industry Teams to help learning and improvement in industry solutions and digital transformation offerings
• Remain focused on customer facing time by running a predictable and healthy business maintaining rigorous sales process compliance
• Continuously nurture and expand your sales, industry, technology and competitive knowledge and capabilities

Qualifications

• 10+ years breadth and depth of experience in different international education systems across the developed and emerging markets.
• Deep experience of engaging at senior government level on education policy and strategy.
• Experience of managing and leading multi-stakeholder teams to drive business growth and revenue opportunities across a range of different countries.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is required; MBA is preferred
• Passionate attitude for technology as an enabler for a student’s growth and can clearly articulate and demonstrate the benefits of these technologies to customers and partners.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft productivity tools, cloud technologies and devices in a classroom environment
• Experienced in building relationships and partnerships that help educators integrate technology into the institution and classroom and how education institutions can digitally transform teaching and learning/student outcomes with Microsoft solutions
• Deep knowledge and interest in the political and academic landscape in their region, with specific understanding of educational issues and international development goals that will help them develop and strengthen ties with governments, partners and other influential institutions
• In-depth knowledge of major government and educational organizations, their priorities, and their political challenges
