Role purpose:
To drive sales and acquisition within the modern trade channels and strategic Partnerships
As the Business Manager in charge of modern trade channels he/ she is responsible for driving the acquisition of quality customers ,smart phone users through partnerships like the 3rd party phone shops and Vodafone cash development within the modern trade channels in the bid to guarantee success and growth of Vodafone this channel.
Key accountabilities
- Acquisition

- Responsible for leading and directing the alternative channels acquisition agents to achieve set sales targets.
- Responsible for driving acquisition with a T1 of 90% ,T2 of 75% ,T3 of 60%
- Monitor and track the performance of team and taking corrective measures where necessary to ensure the achievement of set targets.
- Responsible for growth of third-party electronic sales in assigned regions
- Responsible for the development of Vodafone cash merchants in the modern channel in assigned regions.
- Responsible for recruiting 3rd party phones shops to drive the growth of smart phones onto the Vodafone network
- Responsible for partnerships to drive digital sales and acquisitions in the assigned regions
- Quality Gross customer acquisitions
- Smart phone customer acquisitions
- Vodafone cash development
- Electronic airtime sales
Skilled Required/ Qualification
- The candidate must have a First Degree in a Sales or Marketing related field.
- He must have demonstrated a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a challenging working environment
- Excellent People management skills

- Youthful mind-set
- Enthusiastic about the telecoms industry
- Medium to strong quantitative ability
- Attention to detail whiles retaining sense of the big picture
