Job Description
Job Accountabilities
- Day to day accounting of transactions: Posting sales on daily basis and accounting the transaction as and when occurred.
- Reconciliation of cash and Credit card sales: the cash and card sales to be reconciled with bank statement and any variance to be investigated and necessary action to be taken.
- Monthly closure of Accounts: Ensure all the transaction are posted and accruals accounted for.
- Statutory compliance: Liaising with the Tax managers or Audit firms to ensure all the statutory requirement are complied with on timely basis. (VAT, PAYE, social security etc)
- Periodical stock take: conduct periodical stock take as decided by the management.
- Internal and external audit: Extend support to the internal and external audit.
- Vendor payments: Ensure the vendors invoices are validated, obtained approvals and processed for the payment on timely manner.
- MIS report: timely submission of MIS report to the management.
- Bank Reconciliation: all the bank accounts to be reconciled on monthly basis to ensure the variance are reconciled.
- Ensure all the internal controls are adhered to
Required Skills or Experience
- Qualified chartered Accountant or Masters in Accounts and Finance.
- Good computer skills and experience on MS Office packages and accounting software Navision preferred.
Experience
- 6 -8 years of experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Experience in Retail/ FMCG/ Consumer etc will be advantage.
Skills
- Able to maintain effective communication at all times.
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and at time require to travel to the other countries where.
- Ability to learn new software applications.
- Contributes to building a positive team spirit and puts success of team above own interests.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of internal customers and employees.
