The Ministry of Education invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for: Curriculum and Instruction coordinator
Job Purpose
• To establish systematic guidelines and procedures for the development of integrated and comprehensive policies and plans for curriculum and instructions for the various levels of education
Job Summary
• Initiate the formulation and review of policies based on successful models and best practices for curriculum and instruction development
• Analyse labour market statistics and liaise with industry to coordinate the translation and integration of occupational materials for the enrichment of the curricula
• Liaise with local and international institutions to develop curriculum and instructions policies to ensure that Ghana's training standards are internationally recognised and benefit to the Ghanaian economy
• Establish a portfolio of plans and projects with the view of addressing special interest and/or inadequacies in curriculum and instruction development
• Monitor and evaluate the impact and outcomes of attachment training to develop policies for students and staff of educational institutions
• Monitor and analyse data on compliance with exams regulations, examination results published, relevance of certificates and authentication of results slips and certificates as a feedback for curriculum and instruction development policies
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must possess a relevant Master's Degree with research experience from an accredited tertiary institution
• A minimum of 10 years of post qualification relevant working experience
