Purpose
To design, install and develop ERP Software Applications
Duties
- Installs ERP application, including SharePoint, SQL. Server, Enterprise Portal, and Active Directory
- Monitors and manages ERP environments, facilitates and manages database backups.
- Manages Development/Test/Production environments.
- Manage users in Development/Test/Production environments.
- Coordinates with the client, third party and internal project teams on any maintenance window.
- Coordinates any hotfixes/service packs/feature packs/cumulative updates
- Coordinates and/or performs any environment restores
- Coordinates/enforces version control on all code in the development environment.
- Organizes code deployment to TEST and PROD environments.
- Monitors environment performance and suggests refinements on application configuration or hardware as needed.
- Assist with the definition and set-up of security and client/ consultant access roles.
- Coordinates and executes any required ERP, Database server reboot in any environment.
- Assist in defect closing, defect tracking and defect root cause analysis.
Required Skills or Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related field
Competencies
Technical:
Must be willing to become certified (MCP, CERTIFIED) in all Technical areas of the ERP application/ Microsoft stack.
Managerial:
Ability to plan, coordinate and follow up on work activities
Personality
- Good analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new business processes, systems and working environments.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people with distinctly dissimilar background and social status.
- Punctual, reliable, hardworking and a drive for meeting deadlines for given tasks
