We are expanding in West Africa and we need a Solutions Manager to identify and develop relationships with strategic partners in West Africa with whom BroadReach can partner. Our overall goal is to develop partnerships and create solutions that significantly boost the health impact of development projects, leading to healthier lives. As Solutions Manager you will work closely with the Solutions team, Client Success team, Product Engineering team and other BroadReach colleagues to expand the depth and breadth of BroadReach's business in West Africa, with a principle focus on the donors and implementing community in the public health and supply chain space.

Key Accountabilities 

In your role as Solutions Manager you will:

  • Track USAID, CDC and other international donor sales opportunities to identify projects and generate leads for projects in West Africa
  • Research organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Assist the Communications Manager in planning and executing Marketing events
  • Keep current with industry trends and best practices and continuously seek ways to improve
  • Support the development and execution of strategic client plans
  • Provide insights to the Solutions Team by continuously researching and analyzing clients' business context, operations and financial performance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of engagement strategies aligned with target market segments
  • Support the preparation and delivery of high impact presentations, effectively representing BroadReach's business and value proposition
  • Work with our Product and Client Success teams and other divisions of BroadReach in closing opportunities
  • Assist in the development of proposals
  • Together with the Solutions Team, develop and align detailed client marketing plans (with inputs from the Client Success and Product teams)
  • Maintain a proficient knowledge of products, services and capabilities across the organization to ensure relevant and informed client interactions
  • Work with the Solutions Team to meet and exceed assigned revenue quota and early stage new business identification
  • Be a valued member of the global Solutions team
  • Participate in Solutions conference calls and potential travel for prospect visits, assisting in product demonstrations in person and via WebEx
  • Maintain and update daily the Solutions pipeline on Dynamics365
  • Work closely with the VP for Solutions, Solutions Managers, Product and Client Success teams, and project teams in the field to win new business from government and private accounts
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned revenue quota and early stage new business identification
  • Responsible for identifying target accounts, generating leads and opportunities by tracking public and private sales opportunities
  • Become an expert in your domain, develop appropriate technical expertise, understand BroadReach solutions and its competitors, and bring energy and conviction to your customer conversations

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Business related course of study, or International Development)
  • 7 -10 years' work experience in relevant field
  • Understand the broad data analytics environment, along with standard development work
  • Perform high-level administrative tasks, doing what it takes to develop sales success for Vantage
  • Consistent revenue attainment selling software services/or winning publicly funded international development business over four or more quarters
  • Understanding and working knowledge of data analytics technology and international development business
  • Wear multiple hats in order for us to win
  • Strong business and financial acumen and professionalism
  • Leadership, accountability, and self-starter qualities
  • Excellent customer focus, strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a dynamic sales organization
  • Consistent revenue attainment selling software services/or winning publicly funded international development business over four or more quarters
  • Participate in sales conference calls and travel for prospect visits, providing product demonstrations in person and via WebEx
  • Engage with senior decision makers and influencers internally and within the accounts supported
  • Must be comfortable at an executive level conversation when discussing the business impact of our solutions.
  • Deliver high impact presentations, effectively representing BroadReach's business and value proposition
  • Direct selling expertise, hunter mentality
  • Quantifiable sales track record demonstrated by increasing responsibilities, growth in territory and quota
  • Working knowledge of public and private opportunities in international development
  • Established contacts; rolodex and knowledge of USAID, CDC and other public and private funders in international development business
  • Prefer to have established relationships and ability to network accordingly to generate new interest in target territory for product offerings
  • Formal solutions/sales training and proven proficiency in implementing sales experience and/or experience managing public bids, including to USAID, CDC, Gates Foundation and others
