The Facilities Officer is responsible to maintain the facilities of the Children’s Department, develop creative room designs and oversee the procurement and storage of all supplies and materials.
Job Specifications
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all rooms and areas
- Ensure all rooms have been stocked with needed materials for weekend service
- Purchase all needed supplies for the ministry
- Manage the storage and maintenance of all items [costumes, props, decorations, supplies, ministry materials]
- Develop and implement new design concepts for the Children’s Department
- Must maintain a database of artisans (carpenters, painters, electricians, etc.)
- Prepare materials for all classrooms
- Perform any other duties assigned by the children’s pastor
Required Skills or Experience
Person Specifications
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills
- Must be creative
- Must be organized and able to meet deadlines
- Must maintain a hands-on approach to work
- Must possess analytic skills
- Must have good command of the English language
- Must be enthusiastic in their approach to work
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Procurement and Logistics or related field
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a related field
- Must be familiar with MS Office Suite
- Experience working in a church setting is preferable [esp. in Children’s Department]
