- Collect the results of intrusive and non-intrusive inspections from the relevant inspection area and update the inspection data base.
- Upload the inspection data and activities in the CMMS to facilitate the Maintenance Department in planning and scheduling future inspection activities.
- Follow up with Maintenance Planning to ensure the inspection activities as established by RBI are scheduled.
- Maintain the inspection/corrosion management plan as per the Corporate philosophy for the Ghanaian Facilities.
- Coordinate with all facilities the schedule of planned/unplanned monitoring and inspection.
- Supervise the on-stream and shutdown inspection activities for stationary equipment, piping systems and pressure relieving devices by assessing deterioration mechanisms, corrosion monitoring and investigation of failures.
- Ensure that regular inspections and surveys are conducted across facilities to ensure that corrosion levels are not impacting the original design basis for equipment.
- Monitor safe operational windows as per RBI guidelines.
- Review all inspection and equipment failure reports to ensure the appropriate action is taken for corrosion/erosion related items.
