Reporting To Business Head Ghana
LOCATION: Accra , Ghana
Role Specification
Manages sales of Vehicles ( Trucks, Buses & Tractors ) in Ghana. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning,deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives, strategiesand action plans to improveshort and long term sales and earnings.
Responsibilities:
- Overall accountable for the success of all out – door events.
- Collaborates with the Head, Auto in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
- Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
- Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top decision-makers.
- Performs sales activities on key accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with the Head – Auto.
- Manages day to day activities and development of sales staff.
- Assists in formulation of all sales policies, practices and procedures and ensures that such policies are adhered to.
- Collaborates with Business Head, Auto to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade showexpenses.
- Holds regular meeting with sales staff and provide feedback to Head, Auto.
- Attain sales targets.
- Provide marketing intelligence to the Company.
- Facilitate submission of tenders and provide reports on all submitted tenders.
- Submit monthly Action Plans and Tactical reports on a quarterly and monthly basis.
- Ensure reporting deadlines are met.
- Retain all customers.
- Increase brand visibility and awareness.
- Address sales team needs.
- Manage costs for the Sales department.
- Ensure that Company/Sales vehicles are presentable at all times.
- Respond to customer complains within 24 hours from the time such a complaint is raised. Vehicle invoicing.
- Carry out any other duties as directed by superiors.
Desired Profile :
- Strong technical background.
- Collaborating and Influencing skills.
- Excellent customer care skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead the Sale team.
- Knowledge of developing sales strategies.
- Self-driven.
- Valid Driver’s license.
Educational Qualification :
Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing.
Total years of Experience: 8+ years
