ELECTROMECHANICAL / WATER ENGINEER

LOCATION: Ghana

PROFILE:

  • Education: Civil Engineer / Industrial Engineer;
  • Field of Expertise: Electromechanical Engineering, Water Engineering;
  • Experience:

Field: Industry;

Exposure: National / International;

Current Responsibilities: Project Engineer, Project Manager;

Years – ‘on the job’: ≥ 7 years;

Languages (fluent: spoken, written, read): English;

MISSION:

You will integrate an international team of business developers and engineers to plan and design a drinking water system “hand in hand” with the client, then cost-effectively and safely construct and deliver a high-quality turnkey project to our client in a timely and environmentally friendly fashion within budget boundaries.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the overall design of a drinking water project;
  • Close interacting with the client for presentation of all designs, calculations, drawings and prices, and get their approvals;
  • Participate in identifying and selecting suppliers, partners and subcontractors, and evaluate and adapt their offers;
  • Plan in details the execution of the installation / construction works;
  • Organize, coordinate and lead teams of engineers / technicians to install / construct the systems;
  • Control security compliance of all works on site;
  • Verify and approve orders;
  • Inspect worksites and provide appropriate guidance to improve the works where and when needed;
  • Design creative / innovative solutions to assist solve / troubleshoot problems;
  • Prepare and attend project review meetings with Clients and / or their Representatives;
  • Manage suppliers / subcontractors Contracts;
