We are looking for a dynamic Software Engineer to join our high-performing team in the Accra head office, focusing on the development and running of suitable software solutions, thereby contributing considerably to the optimisation of processes and therefore growth of our business.

Your responsibilities
Collaborate: A collaborative colleague, you will work closely with your colleagues from other departments to understand the specific business needs of the firm
Create: Based on your exchanges with the team, you get creative and design and implement complex software solutions to meet those business needs
Contribute: You will contribute to discussions around the architecture of internal systems as business needs change
Collect: As a trendsetter, you keep up with the latest there is in technology; you promote and nurture engineering’s best practices across the team and keep on thinking of ways to innovate the way we think about and leverage technology
Consult: Advice on our international client-facing projects
These qualities make you the right candidate…
You have 3-5 years of experience working as a software engineer; ideally, you combine experience working both in the start-up space and in the corporate world
· You have a strong track record of building complex software solutions for your clients or employers
· You have a strong understanding of computer science principles, gained for example by completing an academic degree in related subjects
· You are used to working in an agile and dynamic environment
· You are highly experienced with TDD and pair programming
· Your written and verbal communication are excellent
· You have a basic knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Delivery
· You possess a highly creative, flexible and entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to shape ideas
· You are self-motivated and have the ability to organize your work effectively and efficiently
· You are available to join our Accra team full-time from November 26, 2018
