JOB PURPOSE

The security guard is responsible for ensuring safety and security of people and property in order to create a conducive environment for work, learning and leisure

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of  information whilst protecting company assets
  • Patrol premises to detect unusual behavior and other security problems
  • Maintain law and order especially during large gatherings and events
  • Offer security and safety precautions to the public
  • Assist the public and redirect to appropriate places
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons at the Center
  • Respond quickly and correctly during crisis
  • Write daily incident report.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to you from time to time

Required Skills or Experience

A minimum of Senior High/ Technical Vocational  school certificate with some experience in the security industry. Experience in the Hospitality field is a plus.

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Excellent observational skills
  • Must be vigilante and alert
  • Ability to organize and take other task as assigned.
