For Support or Fraudulent Activity Report
ROLE PROFILE:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate Inventory stock, valuation of raw materials and finished goods, research, compile, analyze and interpret data.
He/She will report to the Finance & Administration Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by product
- Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary
- Analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward
- Prepare reporting
- Coordinate with IT for system issues, maintenance and development such as production, purchasing, import/export, accounts payable, accounts receivable, receiving, shipping and other
- Define, structure and analyze cost accounting data and assist in cycle physical inventories
- Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls
- Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile cost and inventory
- Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical duties in regards to cost analyses and profitability
- Work in special projects as required
- Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others,
- Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management
- Any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance
- 3-5 years experience In an international company (Food & Beverage, Cocoa processing) as a Manufacturing Cost Accountant.
REQUIREMENT
- Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills.
- Strong organizational and communicational skills.
- Details oriented.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft office products.
- Ability to apply knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves.
Apparel industry background preferred
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 3 or more years of relation experience.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data.
