Key Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate will be specifically responsible for crafting, developing and leading the implementation of the strategy plan of the firm
• The candidate will also be responsible for the following key roles and activities
• Implementation of the strategic plan of the firm
• Provide leadership for the attainment of the firm's strategic goals
• Nurture and develop networks with international players, government, industry players and regulators for business development opportunities
• Evaluate the work of other team members and put in place the necessary remedial actions where necessary
• Maintain an up-to-date awareness of the competition, expansion opportunities, market dynamics and industry developments so as to design the appropriate interventions
• Assess risks to the firm and ensure they are monitored and minimised
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Finance, Economics or related fields from a recognised university
• A CFA qualification is a valuable addition or any other relevant professional qualification
• Minimum working experience of not less than 10 position in the investment banking business
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Demonstrate competency in business strategy
• Strong, affable and pleasant personality and team player
• Ability to work under pressure and for long hours (if required)
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to take tough decisions when required
• Results-driven personality with a skills for leading and motivating subordinate workers
• Ability to prioritise, delegate and oversee a team of highly motivated and results-oriented staff
• Strong oral and written communication skills, comfortable with public speaking
