Job Summary
• Manages the entire payment card services of the company
• Develops strategies to increase penetration, activation, and utilisation of payment card services
• Analyses rewards programme trends and recommends opportunities to improve appeal, utilisation and profitability
• Proposes strategies to maximize financial return on card marketing campaigns
• Recommend new features and product enhancements
• Works closely with marketing manager to analyse marketplace trends, build partnerships with industry experts and create excitement for the brand
• Helps establish and monitor progress against portfolio goals and objectives
• Works with internal stakeholders to foster ongoing support of cards
• Drive business, achieve monthly sales targets and acquire new customers through consultative selling of our cards products through a defined channel of acquisition retail, corporate and other channel sales
Qualification Required & Experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Must demonstrate a strong work ethic with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated work experience as a manager
• Strong understanding of payment cards and rewards programmes, product design and related regulations
• Knowledge of financial services industry, payments regulations and bank development
• Demonstrated superior oral, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, including senior management
• Bachelor's degree, Postgraduate degree in business administration or any relevant business field
• Must be able to work successfully in a deadline driven environment
• Must have a demonstrated ability to work with confidential data and ensure the integrity of data
