The Business Intelligence Executive is responsible for assisting the Strategic Development Manager and the team in order to achieve the commercial targets, increase market share, capture the identified opportunities in delivering excellent business performance in terms of net sales value, trading profit, cash flow, visibility & share in the market.
Accountable for great relationships with the ECCBC commercial team and the distributors’ staff, and finance & marketing teams, acting as an outstanding ambassador for ECCBC.
Your main responsibilities will be:
•Provide leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of management.
•Conduct analyses of functional business processes and functional business requirements and participate in the development of business cases in the support of process changes.
•Work with business to design, and document dashboards, alerts, and reports.
•Generate daily, monthly, quarterly and annual sales plan & performance reports.
•Prepare sales performance presentations with key WAC KPI´s. and monthly demand forecast.
•Prepare and monitor briefing cycle data and presentations.
•Critically evaluating and screening data, plus profiling to identify any issues.
•Assessing analytics on an ongoing basis and developing new data analysis processes.
•Extending knowledge of Business Intelligence to provide ongoing refinement of processes to improve operations
•Support management by providing advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
•Comply with WAC region legal requirements by anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
•Identify the potential risks that could have an impact on the area and mitigate them.
The Successful Applicant should have:
•2+ years work experience within the field of Business Intelligence, experience in a sales support environment /account management is a plus.
•Proven experience with any of the main relevant BI tools and with customer segmentation, predictive modelling, business case modelling & data modelling.
•Experience in African markets appreciated as well as experience in distribution.
•Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent.
•Knowledge in Data modelling for databases, SQL and how to write well performant queries when accessing databases
•English is required, French is a plus.
