Job Purpose
• To assist the Rector of the College in the day-to-day administration of the College Secretariat
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee the efficient and effective management of designated directorates of the secretariat of the college
• Provide administrative support to the President and Vice Presidents of the college in the management of academic affairs
• Serve as the secretary to the Divisional Boards of the college
• Promote the development of quality teaching and learning
• Discharge duties assigned by the Rector
• Act as Rector in the absence of the Rector
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must be a Fellow of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and in good standing
• Must be a distinguished scholar and medical practitioner
Person Specification
• Mature and of sober judgment
• Must have good business sense and be diligent in the management of limited resources
• Must have administrative and academic experience at the tertiary educational level
