- Job Title: Finance and Investment Manager
- Job Location: Accra
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Report To: CEO
Primary Objective
The position is to provide overall leadership, oversight and management support for all aspects of Financial & Investment management in the organization.
Finance and Investment Manager Responsibilities
- Mornitor and interprete cash flows and predicting future trends.
- Analyse change in the financial and investment market and advise accordingly.
- Develop Financial and investment mechanisms to minimize financial and investment risk.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts.e. g bankers, auditors and statutory organizations
- Follow up on all maturing investments.
- Ensure that payments of matured investments are authorized and done promptly.
- Follow up on all investment certificates.
- Responsible for informing the CEO of all potential and confirmed investments.
- Draft the investment rate sheet containing all interest rates with regards to when interest is payable.
- Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
- Manage Budgets.
- Ensure tax compliance required by all regulatory Institutions.
- Responsible for any other task(s) that Management may assign.
Required Skills or Experience
- High level analytical skills with experience in liasing with internal and external stakeholders and Management, couple with the ability to exercise initiative.
- Effective utilization of computer applications to accomplish tasks, with high level computing skills in Microsoft outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven skills in working in the Financial and Investment Institution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines using a pro-active attitude.
