Job Profile
• Organisational and time-management skills

Key Responsibilities are not limited to:
• Decide thr type of crops to be planted, its quality, quantity and mode of harvest
• Prepare detailed plans for planting and harvesting schedules and collaborate with farm operators to carry out activities
• Plan and prepare the finance reports, set up budget limit for various farm activities and maintain the farm activities in agreement with the budgeted parameters
• Hire full time / temporary field workers to till the land, manage harvest and other minor duties as required, and manage the work schedule, wages
• Buy the farm supplies like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and food, arrange repair and maintenance of field equipment, machineries and farm buildings
• Manage sales and markets of farm products like crop harvest, and plan the production yield on scheduled time for sending it within the specified deadline
• Monitor production and yield quality of crops, liaise with regulatory authorities and keep up-to-date knowledge on plants and animal pests and diseases and taking appropriate measures for curing the same
• Regularly engage the various stakeholders in order to keep abreast of any changes
Qualification Required & Experience
• Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, crop management, farm business management, land/estate management or other agriscience coursework
• Previous hands-on farming experience and technical knowledge (3 to 5 years)
