The business leader oversees the day to day business operations of the organisation and is responsible for business growth and financial profitability of the firm. He provides strategic direction and alignment of operational goals to corporate strategies. - Develop and execute business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
- Spearhead the company’s retail network expansion drive and growth in market share
- Develop and implement business development plans into new market segments, and new product lines to complement current revenue streams
- Develop and implement an enterprise wide risk mitigation plan that adequately reduces and eliminates industry related risks
- Oversee the company financial performance, investment and other business ventures
- Develop and implement human capital development plan that ensure personal development and job satisfaction of all employees
- Develop in consonance with the board, a company organogram that speaks to the current needs of the organisation
- Ensure absolute compliance to all regulatory requirements
- Actively and regularly engage all business stakeholders to ensure business promotion and growth
- Ensure the formulation, communication and adherence of company policies within the organisation
- Communicate and maintain trust relationships with stakeholders, business partners and authorities.
- Develop and implement a corporate social responsibility programme.
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of officers, providing guidance and motivation to achieve maximum performance
