Role & Responsibilities:

As AFME Supply Planner you will be part of the Regional Planning Hub in charge of the Sales & Operations Planning for Africa Region, based on Accra and with factories in Nigeria, Senegal, Algeria and Ghana as well as various international vendors.
As part of the Integration and Transformational Company Project for Africa, you will have the opportunity of being part of the SAP APO integration team as long as developing the team and way of working in AFME cluster. For this reason strong SAP APO knowledge and Planning experience is required.
Direct reporting to the Regional AFME Planning, your will be responsible for Supply Planning execution of the factories of your assignment.

Functions and responsibilities:

-Working closely with the Factories Manager’s you will carry out the Production Plans in order to cover the demand forecast and to ensure the availability of product in the different markets.
-You are expected to give the right visibility to the Company in order to detect any risk in the short and long term so that mitigation plans are put in place.
-You are accountable for the Stock Policy implementation defined by the Company in order to optimize the service level in accordance with the service requirement.
-In coordination with Purchasing and Logistics functions, you will coordinate the import replenishment plan (FG, RM & PACK) from the different international Vendors across the world.
-You will give visibility of the Supply Chain to the BU’s Management in terms of service, coverage, timings and obsolescence risk. . Track and control the dairy production plan and sales vs forecast trend in order to detect and balance any deviation.
-In coordination with the Demand Planners, you will control and challenge the sales forecast from the Business Units in order to ensure the right performance of the Planning Cycles.
-Your responsibility includes to ensure a lean coordination within Supply and BU’s in order to support the growth of the business, giving visibility of any risk of the supply chain in the short and long term
-As Key User for APO SAP system in the company, you will support the team for the correct implantation of the system.

 

Requisitos:

We are looking for an at least 5 years’ experience manager in FMCG companies in similar roles), used to work under stress and complex scenarios.
Team player with proactivity and accountability.
You will have the challenge to participate on the creation of the AFME Planning Hub in Accra, and thus we expect from you a strong commitment and proactivity for supporting this transformational process.
You are expected to show strong analytical skills and being problem solved oriented.
Capacity for adaptation under continuous changes.
Used to work in multinational and cultural environment.
Good communication skills between different actors and environment are required for the position.
Experience on international logistics import export will be a plus.
Operations related (Engineering, Supply Chain) or similar University Degree, complemented with a Master in Operation.
English Proficiency. French will be a plus.
Strong knowledge and proven experience in SAP – APO.
