Rafimex is a full-service FMCG distributor in Ghana, connecting leading international brands with retailers across the country. Our portfolio includes Lucozade, Ahmad Tea, Bjorg, Dulcesol, and many more, and we're looking for someone to grow our brands in the market.
The role
You'll own the performance of your assigned brands in Ghana, from strategy and annual planning through to in-market execution. You'll work closely with Sales, Operations, and our brand principals to drive sales, distribution, and profitability, and make sure every plan shows up properly on the shelf.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement brand strategies and annual brand plans
- Drive sales, distribution, market penetration, and profitability of assigned brands
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and promotional plans
- Plan and execute trade marketing, promotions, activations, and in-store visibility
- Coordinate and manage new product launches from planning to market execution
- Manage relationships with suppliers/principals and coordinate marketing support and brand activities
- Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to achieve brand targets and improve market coverage
- Monitor brand performance, margins, stock levels, and promotional ROI
- Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and consumer activities
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor execution, availability, pricing, and competitor activities
- Identify opportunities for new products, customers, channels, and market expansion
- Prepare regular brand performance reports and provide recommendations to management

What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years' experience in brand management, trade marketing, or sales within FMCG
- Solid understanding of the Ghanaian retail landscape, across modern trade and traditional trade
- Strong commercial and analytical skills: comfortable with forecasts, budgets, margins, and ROI
- Proven experience planning and executing promotions, activations, and product launches
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Clear communicator who can manage principals and work across Sales and Operations
- Willing to spend regular time in the market
Nice to have
- Experience at an FMCG distributor or working directly with international brand principals
- Experience in food and beverage categories
- Valid driver's licence
