Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures

Diagnose plumbing problems and identify effective solutions

Install and repair water heaters, toilets, sinks, showers, and other fixtures
-
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
-
Locate and repair leaks, clogs, and broken pipes
-
Install and maintain water supply and drainage systems
-
Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
-
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
-
Respond to emergency call-outs as required
-
Provide accurate quotes and explain work to customers
-
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Complete job reports and documentation

Education & Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
-
Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program (typically 2–3 years) or vocational/technical training in plumbing from an accredited institution
-
2–5+ years of proven experience as a plumber
-
Experience with residential/commercial] plumbing systems
-
Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
-
Experience reading blueprints and technical diagrams
-
Experience working with a variety of tools and equipment
-
Experience in emergency repair and troubleshooting
