We would like to engage the services of an enthusiastic and results oriented individual who will: Assist in the sale and distribution of all the company's products within the portfolio in our Akim Oda office to achieve monthly sales targets.
Key Accountabilities
- Prospect for new clients and markets to grow business and meet sales targets for all the company brands
- Ensure payments are secured and carry out daily bank reconciliations for both cash and cheques collected and payments made
- Ensure that products reach customers on time and in sufficient quantity to meet market demand
- Generate customer invoices and follow up on customers
- Analyse vendor returns to establish correct amount of payments due to the vendors
- Manage customer complaints on a wide variety of issues within their remit and refer upwards to appropriate
- Record and report anomalies to the line manager
- Contribute to advising superior officers on areas/issues of concern and make recommendations for improvement/changes to policy and processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Validate newspaper/advert sales and generate monthly reports
- Prepare credit notes for customers as required
- Develop new routes and distribution schedules as and when required
- Business development initiatives to grow digital and events revenues

Qualification Required & Experience
- First Degree in Marketing from a reputable tertiary institution with 2 years post qualification relevant experience gained from working in a sales environment OR
- HND in Marketing from a reputable tertiary institution with 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience gained from working in a sales environment
- Must live or reside in Akim Oda township
Skills/Competencies Required
- Must be computer literate and have the ability to implement efficient and accurate financial systems
- Must be a team player with a high sense of commitment and honesty
- Must possess a good communication skills and have a keen eye for detail
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Must have a valid driver's licence
