Role Summary
The Graphic Design Intern (Remote) at Akwannya Hub is a part-time, remote role based in Accra. The intern will support the creation of visual assets for digital and print channels, including social media graphics, event flyers, presentations, and promotional materials. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the team to interpret briefs, developing design concepts aligned with the hub’s brand identity, and refining designs based on feedback.

The intern will work on logo variations, branding elements, and image editing to ensure consistent and engaging visual communication for educational events and community initiatives. The role also involves organizing design files, maintaining brand guidelines, and contributing creative ideas to enhance the hub’s visual storytelling.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create clear, engaging visual content.
- Experience or interest in Logo Design and Branding to support consistent visual identity across platforms.
- Proficiency in Image Editing using common design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar software).
- Ability to follow creative briefs, accept and apply feedback, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail, visual creativity, and sample work demonstrating design capability (academic, personal, or freelance projects accepted).
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn from mentors and participate actively in team discussions.
- Interest in technology, education, or community-focused initiatives is an advantage.
