The Accra Hub is Newmont’s corporate office in Ghana, serving as the strategic centre for our operations in West Africa. Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in surface drilling operations.
- At least 2 years’ experience in training, coaching, mentoring, or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience in competency-based training and assessment.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing drilling training programs.
- Experience working with diverse crews in a mining environment.
Additional Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Ghana Occupational Health and Safety laws.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver process training activities.
- Coaching skills.
- Strong training facilitation and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Understand own behaviours and is aware of the impact on others.
- Adapt their own behaviour where necessary in order to get a productive outcome for the wider team.
