Role Summary
The Sales & Support Engineer – Mining & Construction Industry is a full-time role based in Accra. This role involves managing sales activities for fastening solutions, including identifying opportunities, preparing quotations, and following up on leads and tenders in the mining and construction sectors. The Sales & Support Engineer provides technical support to customers by recommending suitable fastening systems, troubleshooting product-related issues, and offering on-site demonstrations and trainings.

Daily tasks include visiting client sites, conducting technical and commercial presentations, coordinating with internal teams on orders and deliveries, and maintaining accurate records in the sales and customer relationship systems. The role also includes monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, and supporting continuous improvement of products and services.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs, interpret technical specifications, and evaluate project requirements.
- Technical support capabilities, including understanding fastening solutions, providing product guidance, and resolving application issues.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, presenting technical information clearly, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in sales operations, including lead management, quotation preparation, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
- Customer service skills to build long-term relationships, respond to inquiries promptly, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in the mining, construction, or industrial equipment sectors is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools, and ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup (office, field, and home).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites and project locations within Ghana and, when required, the region.
- 5 years or more of sales experience in the related field
