Job Title: WAREHOUSE OFFICER
Department: LOGISTICS
Location of Post: KUMASI
The receipt and issue of raw materials and Packaging Materials for manufacturing in compliance to cGMP protocols. Entering data from various source documents to update records.
MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB
The Warehouse Officer under the supervision of the Warehouse supervisor ensure timely issue of raw materials and packaging materials to production and update the ERP for inbound logistics for his/her locations in NAV ERP for use by other sections for reference and reports. He/She will also be responsible for updating stock cards for raw materials at his/her location.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Updating of stock cards/other records
- Issuing raw materials for production use per the accepted protocols
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Receipts and transfer of materials in NAV to update ERP records
2. Timely Issue of materials for dispensing for use in production to meet weekly production firmed plans
3. Report weekly on status of materials in stock to the warehouse supervisor 4. Ensure bin cards are accurately updated to match with physical quantities.
5. Ensure storage under right conditions as per cGMP protocol
6. Implement FIFO (First in First out)/FEFO (First expiry first out) to avoid obsolete materials 7. Issuing stock reports
8. Ensure that SOPs outlined are duly adhered to
9. Receipt and Issue of goods/materials and ensuring impeccable records are kept for of all issues and receipts transactions.
10. Ensure all relevant documents (GRN, Commercial Invoice, Released Stickers, packing list and CoA) are presented to Finance.
11. Advice and liaise with the Quality Department on the status and condition of materials/products received for extraction of samples for analysis and for eventual approval, rejection or quarantine, using the color-coding of labels (white, yellow, green or red) as appropriate.
12. Must maintain and promote good warehouse practices including General Hygiene, Cleaning and Safety in the Warehouse.
13. Preparation for monthly audit of stock taking and the financial year end stock taking exercise.
14. Partake in monthly and end of year stock count
15. Reconciliation of system figures with physical count/Bin card balances on a monthly basis after stock taking .
16. Comply to data integrity and security policies
17. Adhere to company standards and policies and procedures to meet company objectives.
