Esoko is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to transform complex data into clear insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse datasets, identify trends, develop meaningful reports and dashboards, and provide evidence-based recommendations that contribute to business growth and improved performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyse, interpret, and present data in a way that supports informed decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple internal and external sources.

Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate key business insights.
-
Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities within datasets.
-
Translate business questions into analytical requirements and actionable insights.
-
Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular performance reports.
-
Support management and business teams with data-driven recommendations.
-
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, and integrity across reporting systems.

Conduct statistical analysis and develop models to support forecasting and business planning.
-
Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Project teams on data-related requirements.

Automate recurring reports and improve data collection and reporting processes.

Prepare clear presentations and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Maintain appropriate documentation for datasets, reports, dashboards, and analytical processes.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

A professional certification in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline is an advantage.

Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Research, or a similar role.

Demonstrated experience analysing complex datasets and presenting actionable insights.

Experience developing dashboards and management reports.
-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
-
Practical experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.

Practical knowledge of AI and Generative AI tools for data analysis, automation, insight generation, and reporting is an advantage.

Experience with Python, R, or other analytical programming tools is an advantage.

Familiarity with database systems, data management, and statistical analysis is desirable.
