Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) Limited is seeking to recruit QA/QC Engineer.
Position Title: QA/QC Engineer – Transmission Line & Substation Relocation Project
Job Purpose
To establish, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan.
- Establish inspection and test plans (ITPs).
- Review contractor quality procedures and method statements.
- Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
- Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning inspections.
- Maintain quality records and documentation.
- Participate in material receiving inspections and factory acceptance tests.
- Conduct quality audits and site surveillance activities.
- Verify calibration of testing and measuring equipment.
- Prepare quality reports and performance metrics.

Qualification Requirements
- BSc in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in QA/QC for transmission line, substation, or power infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Experience in inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.
General Requirements
- Experience working on high-voltage transmission and substation projects (161kV or above preferred).
- Strong knowledge of utility standards, engineering codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and remote project locations.
- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/project management software.
- Commitment to quality, safety, environmental stewardship, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work under demanding schedules while maintaining high professional standards.
