Job Summary

Zonda Tec Ghana Limited is a leading company specializing in the assembly and sale of heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles. With our assembly plant located in Tema, we are committed to delivering high-quality commercial and private vehicles to the Ghanaian market. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Officer to manage inventory, parts, and materials at our assembly plant warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments of knockdown (KD) parts, components, and consumables.
  • Verify quantities, part numbers, and quality against delivery notes, purchase orders, and packing lists.
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or non-conformities immediately to the procurement team.
  • Assign bin locations and store parts systematically using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO principles.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and labeled warehouse environment for heavy-duty and light-duty vehicle parts.
  • Ensure heavy components are stored safely to prevent damage and facilitate easy retrieval.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s ERP or warehouse management system.
  • Conduct cycle counts and participate in monthly/quarterly physical stock takes.
  • Monitor stock levels and raise reorder alerts for critical and fast-moving parts.
  • Issue parts and materials to the assembly line technicians against authorized requisition notes.
  • Maintain daily logs of receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly warehouse reports (stock status, slow-moving items, discrepancies).
  • Enforce safety protocols (use of PPE, safe lifting, proper stacking).
  • Ensure hazardous materials (batteries, oils, lubricants) are stored in compliance with environmental and safety standards.
  • Keep fire exits, extinguishers, and emergency equipment accessible and functional.
  • Supervise and guide warehouse assistants, forklift operators, or casual laborers.
  • Liaise with the procurement, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless material flow. 

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

  • Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CILT, SAP certification) is an added advantage.
  • At least 2–3 years of warehouse or stores experience in a manufacturing, automotive assembly, or heavy equipment environment.
  • Experience handling automotive spare parts or engineering components is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of FIFO, stock control, and barcoding systems.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for stock reporting.
  • High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak assembly periods.
