The Role
Reporting to the highest level of management, the Director will provide strategic leadership for the institution's communications, branding, stakeholder engagement and partnership development.
The role will be pivotal in positioning the institution as a centre of excellence, strengthening its public image and forging strategic collaborations with key stakeholders locally and internationally
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications and branding strategy
- Lead media relations, public affairs and institutional messaging
- Oversee digital communications, publications and content development
- Design and execute stakeholder engagement and partnership frameworks
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with academic, legal, corporate and development institutions - locally and internationally
- Advise management on communications, public affairs and reputational risk matters.
- Lead crisis communications planning and response
- Oversee and develop the corporate communications & partnerships unit
