Opportunity
As a growing organization, AGROPAL is seeking talents to complement its existing team with its mission of empowering every actor in the agricultural value chain. Therefore, AGROPAL is seeking to hire a Plumbing Technician to work within its Maintenance Department.

Duties and Responsibilities
The hired candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
- Respond promptly to plumbing faults such as leaks, blockages, and pipe failures.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to approved schedules.
- Maintain water supply lines, storage tanks, pumps, valves, and fittings.
- Maintain drainage, wastewater, and effluent systems to prevent contamination and flooding.
- Monitor and Supervise water treatment systems.
- Support maintenance of washroom amenities and handwashing stations.
- Assist with installation and modification of plumbing systems during facility upgrades.
- Ensure plumbing work complies with factory safety rules and hygiene standards.
- Support food safety programs (GMP, HACCP) through proper water and sanitation control.
- Maintain accurate records of plumbing maintenance and repairs.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualification & Experience
Qualified applicants must possess the following as discussed under the following thematic areas:
Education
- Trade Certificate, NVTI, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in plumbing maintenance within an industrial or commercial environment. Experience in food or manufacturing facilities is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Plumbing troubleshooting and repair skills
- Knowledge of water supply and drainage systems
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitation requirements
- Ability to read basic plumbing drawings
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
